After being released exclusively for the Xbox 360, Grand Theft Auto
IV’s Downloadable Content is being released on the PC (and PS3). The
two Episodes from Liberty City, The Lost and The Damned and The Ballad
of Gay Tony, were both received very well by fans and critics. Both
"Episodes” are available for download on Windows Live and in stores in
DVD format.
This release is well overdue, as the PC is the
natural platform for Downloadable Content. By staggering the release
dates for the PC and PS3, GTA developer Rockstar has allowed the buzz
for both expansions to die down considerably. In the meantime, new
blockbuster games like Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2 and Call of Duty 4
have all captured the audience of PC gamers, while Grand Theft Auto IV
hasn’t made much news lately.
